F. John Caldwell, Jr.

F. John Caldwell, Jr., vaccine law F. John Caldwell, Jr., a native of the Philadelphia area, is an experienced trial attorney with clients ranging from large companies, to the city government in Atlantic City, to small businesses and individuals. He obtained his undergraduate and law degrees from Rutgers University. He distinguished himself in law school as a member of the Rutgers Law Journal, publishing a Note on the topic of private Superfund litigation, and was a research assistant for a renowned constitutional law professor and author.

Since graduating from Rutgers Law School, Mr. Caldwell has practiced in a variety of litigation areas including medical malpractice defense, environmental law, contract, class action, civil rights, and patent infringement. In addition, he has participated in special counsel investigations into alleged wrongdoing at major utility companies in the New York and Philadelphia metropolitan areas. He was a key team member for Atlantic City in the development of former municipal lands into multi-billion dollar casino resorts. He has litigated and negotiated the settlement of dozens of complex civil cases.

Mr. Caldwell is a member of the Bars of the States of Florida, New York and New Jersey. He is admitted to practice before the United States Courts of Appeals for the Federal and Third Circuits, the United States Court of Federal Claims, and the United States District Courts for the Middle District of Florida, the Southern District of New York and the District of New Jersey.

A veteran of the United States Coast Guard, Mr. Caldwell served from 1980 through 1984 aboard Coast Guard Cutters Red Oak and Duane. As a crew member on the Coast Guard Cutter Red Oak, his work entailed keeping aids to navigation on station and operating in the Port of Philadelphia and the Delaware River. After graduation from the Navy Quartermaster School, he was transferred to the Coast Guard Cutter Duane where he participated as a navigator in search and rescue, drug interdiction, and maritime law enforcement patrols.

He lives in southwest Florida with his wife and two young sons.
