Anne Carrión Toale

Anne Carrión Toale, Vaccination Reaction Attorney Anne Carrión Toale is a partner in the Maglio Christopher & Toale, P.A. Law Firm where she represents people hurt by severe reactions to vaccinations. She helps her clients get compensation from the National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program (NVICP) before the United States Court of Federal Claims. Ms. Toale recently negotiated a $61 million dollar settlement for a child who experienced a severe and debilitating reaction to the DTaP vaccine. This vaccine case was medically complicated and the child's future needs were extensive. "Without legal representation, it could have turned out very differently," says Toale. "That is why we strongly recommend that anyone considering filing a vaccine case hire an attorney who is experienced in vaccine cases to represent them, especially since there is no cost to victims at all."

In her legal career, Ms. Toale has worked in private practice in both plaintiff personal injury and insurance defense firms; as an appellate Assistant Attorney General, a Special Assistant County Attorney, and an enforcement attorney for the Department of Revenue.

Ms. Toale earned her Juris Doctor in 1992 from the University of Florida College of Law. In law school, she wrote an award-winning paper in Legal Research and Writing, and went on to teach freshman law students the basics of legal research and writing during the remainder of her time in law school as a fellowship instructor. She also received the highest grade in her law school class in Constitutional Law. Ms. Toale earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology in 1989, from the University of Florida.

After graduation from law school in 1992, Ms. Toale was selected for a prestigious position as a judicial law clerk, for Judge Martha Warner of the Fourth District Court of Appeal.

Ms. Toale is admitted to the Florida Bar, all Florida Federal Courts, the United States Court of Federal Claims, and the United States Courts of Appeal for the Eleventh Circuit and the Federal Circuit.

Professionally, Ms. Toale served two terms as president of the Palm Beach County Chapter of the Florida Association for Women Lawyers, served as Director of the Sarasota County Chapter of the Florida Association for Women Lawyers, and is a member of the Court of Federal Claims Bar Association, the Florida Bar, and the Sarasota County Bar Association. She serves on the legal committee of First Baptist Church of Sarasota, and is a member of the Junior League of Sarasota. She is married and has two children.
