DePuy ASR & Zimmer Durom Hip Replacement Litigation

Mr. Maglio currently focuses his personal practice on the litigation of metal on metal hip replacement failures, specifically the DePuy ASR hip and the Zimmer Durom hip. He currently represents clients across the nation with those defective hip implants. In his leading role in this litigation, Mr. Maglio has lectured to national audiences of plaintiff's attorneys on metal on metal hip replacement failures and has filed some of the first lawsuits in the U.S. involving these products.

Attorney Altom Maglio Featured Speaker at National Trial Lawyers Conference

Altom Maglio, Managing Partner at Maglio Christopher & Toale, P.A., was one of a select few attorneys asked to speak at an annual meeting of national trial lawyers. His topic that day: Litigation of defective metal on metal orthopedic hip joint failures. Mr. Maglio points out that an unusual number of patients with these defective hip joints were experiencing excruciating pain, long term damage to their joints, and a complete failure of the device.
