Vaccine Injury Supreme Court Amicus Brief
The Maglio Christopher Toale & Pitts Law Firm recently authored and filed a Supreme Court Amicus Brief on behalf of the Vaccine Injured Petitioners Bar Association, the George Washington University Law School Vaccine Injury Clinic, and a representative client of the Firm, a mother whose healthy 20 year old daughter was found dead four days after receiving the Gardasil vaccine. The Supreme Court Amicus Brief was filed in the case of Bruesewitz v. Wyeth, Inc. The issue before the Supreme Court in the Bruesewitz case is whether the National Childhood Vaccine Injury Act of 1986 preempts all product liability vaccine design defect claims. This is an extremely important issue with grave ramifications.
